Christmas Maze

This game is based on a Christmas Maze game. I click the start button then it will say a word of the picture that is in the Maze. This game is all about listening skills. I found this easy because my hearing skills are fine. But I never listen when people tell me to do things. This was alright game but I would like to play a game that is different to this. My score was 1234.

Triangel Snowflakes

 

For maths I played a game with triangle snowflakes. I just put them into random order. This wasn't fun or interesting at all. 

Hasbro

These Hasbro came to our school to build a play house for the juniors to play in. There will be board games to play with. There is going to be free sausages for the builders for helping the juniors.

I made a Kaleidoscope picture. I drag the mouse all over the page then it just makes a picture. I just did a simple flower made out of different colours.

Sumdog Shapes

In this game its all about shapes and fractions. I had to figure out what shape is open. I had to find a shape that had a open space. I selected the one at the end. I got it correct and the rakit hit the tennis ball. Went to the other side and gave me a score. The girl on the other side had lost a score and I caught up easily.

Measurments

Walt:

For the last term we have been learning about measurements and angles. We have to measure the angels by using a protractor. I have learned this very well I have learned that 360 is a full circle and 180 is a half circle. Also 90 is a quarter of a circle. I would like to learn about reflex angels.

Christmas Wrap

Room 11 has been decorating christmas wrappings for the christmas banquet. We have been doing this for the past few weeks. I was doing the colour blue wrapping with poke a dots. Using the colour red to make the poke a dots. I have enjoyed this. I have also been doing other amazing ones. We could be creative and do anything with the wrappings.  

Place Value

Walt: solve problems by equal additions that turn one of the numbers into a tidy number.


This game is about place value and adding, subtracting and also using tidy numbers.
I found this easy because 100 cm is 1 metre. My question was "How many metres is 305 cm?". Well 300cm is 3 metres and 5 cm is not counted as a metre. I didn't find this hard to figure out. Next I would want to learn about BEDMAS.

In this game I have to use the numbers that are falling from the brain. Equal it to the number that is given to me in the speech bubble. I found this easy to play because I already know addition. Also the levels become harder and you minus numbers in the other levels.

Walt: solve subtraction problems using place value to partition numbers.

This week in Room 12 maths class we have been learning about tidy numbers. We have been learning about tidy numbers because these things happen in real life. Thats why we need to know things like this. I thought that learning about tidy numbers was easy. Its similar to place value. Tidy number is rounding the number off to the nearest 10. Eg: 12+33=? then what you do is round off the one of the numbers to the nearest ten, so I would use the 33 in to 40 which i'm adding 7. 12+40=52 then you take away 7 because what you did was adding 7 on the 33 to make a tens, so now take away 7 from 52. Will be 52-7= 45 theres your answer.
