Savoury Muffins

Today 16 of September we made savoury muffins. In the hall at Glen Innes School. We were divided into groups of 3-5 but there could only be 5 groups. My group was 3 we had to bake corn and cheese savoury muffins. I thought that the kumara savoury muffin looked delicious as the feta and spinach. Me and Tainah took photos of the muffins. They all look yum! I can't wait to eat them. In the end people had to do dishes.

Celebrity Reviver

This story is about Celebrities coming on stage to show there talent. Then the audience would vote on a tablet. Only if they want the celebrities audio graph. If they don’t they get kicked off stage. But in the end there was a dog and the audience loved the dog.

Neighbours shed

This poem is about the neighbours shed. The kids from next store is describing whats in the shed. There trying to find a way to get there tennis ball back. From the neighbours shed. So what they are doing is trying to find the key to get inside the shed. But they can’t seem to find the key.

Walt: Create and use appropriate units and devices to measure length, volume and capacity, weight (mass,) turn, angel, temperature and time.

In this game I am matching the measurements that are related to each other. I found it easy because I knew that 100cm= 1 metre, 1000m=1k, 1000mil=1m, 10mil=1cm. I found this not hard to play. My level I got up to was 6. My score was 10440 Wow! that was a great score. 

Lucy's Picnic

This story is about a little family going for a picnic to the beach. They go to the shop just to get magazines, hula hoop and umbrella. Also they get apples, tiny loaf, cheese, black seeds sprinkled on the crust.

Nouns

In this game I had to chose the proper noun for the sentence. I found this easier than I thought. It's because I knew what a noun was it is related to the name of something. Eg: Chase, Tainah, Andrea.
I didn't find anything complicated that much. My score was 20.

I had Jowly with me to read. I think she was a bit shy to read to me because she is new to this school. I tried to convince her to read a bit loud so I can hear what she is saying. Then I just told her if you don't want to then you just push this arrow when your finish. Maybe next time she would be more confident to read to us.

This was a photo of me and my cousin Drakequin. He read my story that I made about muffins. He was a bit shy at first. But I tried to make him read out loud to me so he can become more confident at reading.

volume and capacity, weight (mass), turn (angle), temperature, and time.

In this game I'm matching the measurements of each one that is related. I found this easy because what I knew was 100 cm=1 metre and 1000 metres= 1 kilometres, 1000 millimetres= 1 metre and 10  millimetres= 1 centimetre. But level 5 was getting harder than I thought, they used 200 metres, millimetres, centimetres and kilometres. Next I think I would want to learn more about this so I can become more knowledgeable about lengths. So it can stick in my brain.

Apostrophe

Walt: identify/discuss the anthers purpose.


This is a game that I played it's all about apostrophe. I had to take a test and pick the right word with the apostrophe that belonged in the sentence. I found it easy to play this because it's just adding the word with the apostrophe. But I got about two or one wrong. But I think I could do better next time. Next I want to learn how to use past tense in my story writings.

The Halloween House

Walt: Identify/discuss the author's purpose. 

This story was about Halloween happening in the house. There was someone at the door knocking but it was gradually going into a beat. Then there was a snake slithering from the mist. Next, a witch that was 200 years old was peeping through the window. A big long spider with fangs was creeping from the celling. They were all going towards Suzie and Picador. But as they were snake was keeping an eye out. When the three of the creepy creatures just got near the bed Teddy had got up and begins to grow big and bigger. He was terrifying. So the witch the spider and the snake disappeared quickly away. 

Cross Country

Early this morning I was going for a stroll with my friends Semera and Celia. While we were walking we had some nice conversations together. But really we were suppose to be running.
